“The Life After”
First Genre
I was never this sad, to begin with, life was so peaceful back when I was a child, Top of my class, many friends, and a very happy attitude. But as I got older things my life started slowly spiraling downwards, and I’m going to live the rest of my life in this stupid asylum. I HAD IT, I have this weird plain white pill, as to how I got it I can’t seem to remember. I’m tired of all these feelings and mental breakdowns that I’ve had throughout my miserable life, hopefully, this pill can end it all, not like anyone would care anyway. As I took the pill my mind went blank and I felt my body fall to the ground, flashes of my life crossed my mind. All the people that cared about me, to all the people that rejected me faded away into nothingness, then everything went dark. What felt like days, I finally awoke to a cold, dark room, my mind was a bit fuzzy, I looked around and everything looked so weird until I saw it. How was that possible I was standing over my own dead body! I was freaking out, This damped room looked like the room I was staying at in the asylum, but more broken down and old. I didn’t know what to do until, I huge gust of wind blew off the south wall, what I saw amazed me. Swirls and swirls everywhere, the landscape was dark and dim-lighted, the sky had different shades of blue, with a small number of stars. Next to me was a giant willow tree overlooking what seemed to be a small city, some of the houses had some light slipping in through the window, maybe I could find help down there. But with all the confusion the sight was truly breathtaking. I took a step forward, I needed to find out where I am and what was happing to me. With so many questions in my head, I headed down the steep hill to the small city, not knowing what this weird spiraled world had to offer to me.
Second Genre
Dear to whoever finds this,
If you are reading this letter, the body next to you is probably my body. I couldn’t handle it any longer, the madness was killing me so I just had to end it. All my life I’ve been rejected and thrown out as an outcast, my brother was the only one who took me in, but really it was just out of pity. Painting never helped, I put all of my feelings into my paintings but no one ever got the messages, I was always meant to be alone from day one. One of the paintings that I drew was named Starry Night, It should be underneath my bed in the corner, take it. There was no point in me even paint that I never really liked it anyway, I even put a damn willow tree in the painting but no, no one ever got the message. I tried and tried over and over and over and over and OVER, NOTHING EVER WORKED, Why me, why do I deserve this?! I wanted to live a normal life, I just wanted help…
Sincerely
Vincent Van Gogh
